DR's Part 2

So the next DR I went to see was an OBGYN. I again thought I was pregnant, Spring 2006. I went in, not only did the OBGYN NOT show me the ultrasound, she went on to say that I may have a liver tumor and could die...yes, she kept pushing me to get a CT scan of my liver...because she said it was swollen and that I could die if I didn't ....
I have heard/read that your thyroid issues can cause liver swelling...
Has anyone else heard this?
I will research this more and let you know....

Well, I never had any liver malfunction symptoms.....

It stinks when you go to a DR and they DO NOT believe you....

In August/Sept. 2007, I went to the DR again...I was working out pretty much every other day and barely eating (I tried to go without much food, because I feared gaining weight)

I had another miscarriage around my birthday, and decided I needed to see the DR.....

Unfortunately she REFUSED to do any tests other than JUST the TSH....even though I explained ALL my symptoms, TOLD her that thyroid disease runs in my family, and all....she didnt believe me....she told me she didnt want to go on a "bunny trail" so she was not going to recommend any other tests.....

She ALSO told me it was pretty much my fault for the miscarriage because I apparently wasnt taking care of myself....

I was also told that I needed to "lay off the potato chips" which at the time...I was barely eating at all.....

Seriously, It is sooo frustrating when DRs REFUSE to listen....

Its YOUR body and YOU know how you feel and how YOU don't.....KEEP trying! KEEP bugging the DR until they listen!!! its YOUR right to feel better!!! (and be listened too!)
